The world of ice at the Hintertux glacier is a true miracle of nature that enchants every visitor to this unique scenery. Most people know that you can even ski and snowboard on the Hintertux glacier during the summer. In summer and autumn the region offers 9 lifts and 30 - 60 km pistes.

Panorama terrace at 3.250 m
The all-round view is imposing, indeed incomparable, from the panorama terrace up at 3.250 m. See the Grossglockner, the Dolomites and the Zugspitze within reach by just turning round once.
Spannagelhaus & Spannagel cave
The entrance to an underground adventure is located below the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux Glacier: 10 kilometres long, the cave by the Spannagelhaus is the most important cave in Tyrol and presents above all an insight into the high alpine karst formation of the glacier regions. Guided tours are available all year.
Glacier tour
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday an experienced glacier-guide of the ski school Hintertux takes you on an exciting trip on the Hintertux glacier. On spectacular 3.250 m you get to know everything about the surrounding mountains and enjoy the breathtaking view. You walk over 1000-year-old glacial ice, past powerful, turquoise ice breaks and find out interesting facts about the birth and the construction of our glacier.
