The Tuxerhof is located in Vorderlanersbach, a district of the municipality of Tux in the upper Zillertal—at an elevation of approximately 1,300 m above sea level. Situated right next to the valley station of the Rastkogelbahn, the hotel offers the ideal starting point for exploring the mountains and glaciers around Tux and Hintertux in both summer and winter.
You can reach the Tuxerhof by taking the Zillertalstraße B169 to Mayrhofen and then continuing on the Tuxerstraße L6; it is located right at the entrance to the Tux Valley in Vorderlanersbach.
There are free parking spaces around the Tuxerhof; we’ll be happy to assist you upon arrival and park your car for you. Alternatively, depending on availability, you can reserve a parking space in advance in our hotel’s underground garage or the Private Home underground garage for a fee.
There are three charging stations in our hotel's underground parking garage where you can charge your electric car for a fee. Alternatively, we recommend the Supercharger at the Tux-Center, just a 3-minute drive from your vacation home.
The closest train station is in Mayrhofen—we’d be happy to pick you up from the station with a hotel shuttle. If you need transportation from the Jenbach train station, we’d be happy to help you book a shuttle.
The nearest airports are in Innsbruck and Munich. We’re also happy to assist you with an airport shuttle at any time.
Right next to the Tuxerhof are two supermarkets—Mini M and Braunegger—and there’s also a SPAR store in Tux-Lanersbach. For sportswear, shoes, and equipment, the Insider sports shop right next door and Bennis Sportmoden in Lanersbach are highly recommended.
The nearest pharmacy is in Mayrhofen. A small first-aid kit is also available at Dr. Peer’s medical practice in Juns.

Right next to the Tuxerhof is the valley station of the Rastkogelbahn—your gateway to the Zillertal 3000 Ski & Glacier World. With the free ski bus or sports bus, you can also reach the Finkenberger Almbahn, the Eggalmbahn, and the Hintertux glacier lifts in just a few minutes.
Yes, the Hintertux Glacier is only about a 10-minute drive from the Tuxerhof and is easily accessible via the free ski bus.

That vacation feeling starts from the very first kilometer. If you’re traveling by train, sit back and enjoy the ride through the Inn Valley to the Jenbach express train station. From there, the journey continues to Mayrhofen.
For the final leg to Vorderlanersbach, the choice is yours: take the bus or let our free hotel shuttle pick you up right at the Mayrhofen train station.
