Our utmost priority: the safety of all our guests and employees. To guarantee this, we are taking all the necessary precautions and implementing the necessary measures. An huge "natural" advantage that we have here at the Tuxerhof is the large amount of space available in our outdoor and indoor areas. There is plenty of room to relax and enjoy - while keeping the necessary distance - in our house.
Wherever you are, you will find enough free space to stretch out, and plenty of possibilities for privacy and demarcation. In the house and around the Tuxerhof. On the mountain tops and in the valley. We are constantly planning, tinkering, developing, and optimising. For you, for us, and for your wonderful break in the summery Tuxertal.
So that you can look forward to your holiday with us at the Tuxerhof without worries, we guarantee you our security concept for all bookings until the end of November 2021:
The safety, protection and well-being of our guests are always our top priority. Please only travel if you and your family is healthy. This is important to us - for the well-being of all our guests and employees.
Minimum distances must be maintained throughout the house. Of course, our employees will also strive to comply with this regulation. Fortunately, this is not difficult at the Tuxerhof, as we have plenty of space available in all areas - from our lobby in the entrance area to our restaurants and Alpine spa, including the 'HimmelREICH' and rooftop terrace.
Within the hotel, several disinfectant dispensers are available for sanitising your hands. In addition, we will provide you with disinfectant sanitisers upon arrival.
All Tuxerhof team members who come into contact with guests will use a mouth and nose protector. Gloves are used wherever required. Ongoing training for increased hygiene precautions also ensures the highest possible standards in this area.
Our cleaning standards have always been very high. But we have made additional adjustments to reflect the current situation.
We will ensure that you are constantly well looked after, while simultaneously optimising our contacts and processes. Our mission: to remain available for any questions and concerns you may have, as usual, and to maintain our cordiality despite the increased physical distance. Our check-in and reception services may look a little different, but will remain as friendly as always.
For the summer of 2021, we have introduced relaxed cancellation conditions to make your life easier - at least when it comes to holiday planning. You can find more information here.
The wellness facilities are open for your enjoyment. Throughout the SPA area, trained personnel will ensure that social distancing is maintained. For your own safety, in some areas only a certain maximum number of guests will be allowed to enter at the same time. This is where you can really benefit from the spaciousness of our relaxation worlds.
Our Alpine Spa is divided into several indoor and outdoor levels, and offers various places to relax, feel good and "spread out".
We have extended our swimming times. On wednesdays and saturdays you can enjoy our sunset relaxation pool from 07:00 to 22:30, and get some fresh air at the same time.
Good news for those who love a good sauna session! We are able to open our sauna world and - according to the information currently available - it is possible for several people to use the sauna rooms at the same time. Right at the sauna door, we will strive to provide a regulated and enjoyable experience for everyone. We have already come up with solutions as to exactly how this can work, but we thank you in advance for your understanding if there are still occasional waiting times.
You can continue to enjoy rest, treatments, and a relaxation session in our three relaxation rooms. Our 'HimmelREICH' and spacious panoramic terraces on the 4th floor also offer plenty of space alongside magnificent mountain views. There are also many sunbeds available in the garden. The air our guests breathe in comes directly from the mountain world next door.
Now you can look forward to massages, care and cosmetic treatments of the highest quality! These are carried out in accordance with the hygiene measures in place. If you have any special wishes in this respect, please let us know in advance so that we can bear them in mind when planning your session.
For many years, it has been important to us to focus on regionality and sustainability. We therefore use products from our own region and plan to do this increasingly in the future. Our kitchen staff, service staff, and suppliers are continuously undergoing training and monitoring.
Breakfast and lunch are served as a combination of buffet and show cooking. At our buffets, the use of hand disinfectants - which we make available to our guests - is obligatory.
The daily choice is entirely up to you. Put together your own menu, from starter to dessert. Choose from vegetarian, meat and fish dishes and enjoy up to five courses. These courses will continue to be served at your table by our service staff.
On your first evening in our hotel, we will take you to your table. This is reserved exclusively for you for the duration of your stay here at the Tuxerhof. Just for you and your loved ones.
Almost all sports will be possible without any restrictions. Yoga and workouts will be moved outdoors as much as possible, or, if this is not possible, will be modified and provided for a limited number of participants. Our guided hiking tours will also be carried out in small groups.
The consistently implemented measures for a carefree time on the Hintertux Glacier are successful. The magic word here is "personal responsibility". The most important questions about the right behaviour on the mountain are answered here:
The wearing of a mouth/nose protection is obligatory in the following areas:
at cable car sales points, in the access area on all cable cars, in the station area, access/disembarkation area and while riding the cable car.
The minimum distance of 1 m must be observed. There are corresponding floor markings in the waiting area in front of the ticket offices and the lifts. If possible, the distance must also be observed in the cable car cabins and gondolas.
In order to limit capacity, a capacity restriction of 50% applies. All cabins are regularly disinfected and continuously ventilated.
Due to the ideal location of the Tuxerhof directly at the valley station, no journey is necessary - you therefore avoid using public transport.
You also have culinary advantages at the Tuxerhof. You can enjoy the breakfast buffet until 10:30 am. From 13:00 you can enjoy the afternoon lunch. This means you avoid having to stop and queue in a restaurant.
All of our employees undergo regular training and testing. We are all extremely motivated to finally welcome you for a magical stay in the beautiful setting of Tyrol, thanks to all of our work - and with a smile on our face, even if this is masked for the time being. We are still waiting for the final guidelines from the federal government. Our measures can still be adapted or supplemented accordingly.
