Our 4*S hotel in the Zillertal Valley also offers two more unmissable highlights: the HimmelREICH, the cosiest lounge you can imagine, and the Sunset Relaxpool on the roof of the hotel, where guests can swim a few early-morning lengths before breakfast and watch the sun set in the evening.
Important information about spa treatments at the Tuxerhof
We kindly ask you to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment so that we can start on time. Sit down and enjoy a cup of herbal tea as you wait to be picked up by a member of staff and taken to your appointment. Please be aware that we will not be able to extend the treatment if you arrive late. We recommend that you plan a period of quiet reflection after the end of you treatment in order to gain the maximum benefit. You are welcome to use our quiet area for this.
When attending a spa & beauty appointment, please wear your bathrobe and take off all jewelry. You will be covered with sheets and towels during your treatment to protect your personal privacy. There are also single-use undergarments for men and women available in the Well Beauty Centre. For Thai Yoga, foot reflex zone massages and Reiki treatments please wear comfortable clothing.
We want you to feel like you are in good hands during your stay with us. Therefore, please let us know about any special wishes or needs before you arrive. This applies to any medical issues you may have, including if you are pregnant.

We kindly ask you to not reserve recliners in the indoor and outdoor area for an extended period of time. Guests who reserve recliners for long periods will have their items removed by a member of staff.
Understandably, many of our guests want to get away from it all when they visit the spa. There is an area next to the entrance where you can chat, but please be quiet in our chillout areas. Mobile phones are not permitted in these areas. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed into the saunas. The outdoor pool is reserved for adults only from 18:15.
We strive to be as flexible as possible when it comes to changing and cancelling appointments. We kindly as you to contact us as soon ask you know that you will not be able to attend the appointment you have arranged. Appointments cancelled at short notice will be subject to a cancellation charge amounting to 70% of the original fee. Appointments which are not cancelled at all will be charged in full.
Spring water, a range of teas as well as fresh fruit, nuts and dried fruits are available free of charge at the entrance to the spa area.
For each person staying in your room you will find a bathrobe and a basket with two sauna towels, a shower towel and fluffy spa slippers. Missing towels will be replaced each day by our room staff. For reasons of hygiene we kindly ask you to always use a towel in the sauna to prevent sweat seeping into the wood. Small pads for sitting on are also available for the steam room. A separate towel is provided for showering after the sauna. Speak to a member of reception if you need more shower towels.
